Government Transformation

The transformation of government programs, agencies, and departments is one of the most difficult and challenging initiatives that anyone can take on. It can also hold the highest rewards for citizens, stakeholders, governments, and the owners of the initiative.

GTP has had experiences from all angles of government transformation. Through our formal processes and methodologies that include early analysis and positioning, data gathering, strategy development, and delivery plans or as part of a larger team that utilizes an in-house method and approach.

The GTP methodology revolves around 4 pillars that are captured in our Transformation Lifecycle™ approach.

Normally, organizations would begin their transformation within the Baseline area. The key elements that ensure a solid start to your transformation are open and honest dialogues around the scope that you are prepared to take on and then understanding as many of the current elements that relate to that scope from government policy, people, finances, infrastructure, and intangibles.

The NextGen, which can be carried out in tandem with the Baseline exercise, helps to set out a picture of what you want your environment to look like down the road. The Blueprint stage forms the most interesting part of the journey as you strategize, formalize, and prioritize the various projects that will move you from your Baseline to the Future View.

Perhaps the most important of the 4 pillars is the Ongoing area. An organizations ability to capture all of the lessons and strong processes from your transformation and carry them forward on a regular basis is difficult but essential to long term success.

Depending on the nature of your needs, GTP can start or accelerate within any of these four areas or their sub-areas, providing ongoing partnership or take on timely projects that will sustain your momentum.
